MONDAY, MAY 11th – FLIGHT TO BOSTON - This morning, we meet at the Jackson Evers Airport for our early morning departure to Boston, MA. We will arrive in Boston by early afternoon, pick up our luggage, and board our motorcoach to begin our exciting adventure to Cape Cod! We will head straight to Joe’s on Newbury for an exciting dinner on our first night, included! After dinner we will transfer to the hotel for group check-in. Enjoy a restful evening after an exciting first day! (D)
TUESDAY, MAY 12th - ARRIVE AT HYANNIS, MA - After enjoying a deluxe hot breakfast at our hotel, we will load our luggage and check-out. This morning, we will tour through the beautiful North End, see the Freedom Trail, the Public Garden, and even see where the Boston Tea Party took place and see America’s most loved Baseball Stadium – Fenway Park! We will have some time to shop, sightsee and have lunch in the harbor area. This afternoon, we will enjoy a visit to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, dedicated to our 35th President, who would have turned 101 this year. As we tour the museum at our own pace, we will see the challenges and the inspiration Kennedy faced during the 1960’s. This will be a historic visit we can all enjoy. After plenty of time at the JFK Library, the group will make our way to Hyannis Port, with rest stops en route. We will arrive at our destination by late afternoon and check into our hotel for a four night stay. After time to relax and freshen up, enjoy dinner on our own nearby where there will be plenty of choices for dinner and shopping this evening. (B)
WEDNESDAY, MAY 13th – OUTER CAPE & PROVINCETOWN - After enjoying a full breakfast at our hotel, we will travel Olde King’s Highway, dotted with historic Cape Cod architecture and New England Inns. We will see historic Windmills, the giant Dunes of Truro, light Houses and the pristine Province lands. We will stop at a Cape Cod Seashore Visitor’s Center to learn about the interesting natural history of this unique area. There will be time in Provincetown to explore and have lunch on your own. After lunch, our group will have the amazing opportunity to take part in a Whale Watching Excursion, an exciting three hour cruise from beautiful Provincetown Harbor with the Center for Coastal Studies, the most interesting and detailed whale watch on the east coast! See up to five varieties up close and personal as the narration continues describing the action and identifying the whales! This evening, we will enjoy dinner at Tugboats Restaurant at Hyannis Marina Cape Cod, included in our tour. Following dinner, we will return to our hotel for the evening. (B,D)
THURSDAY, MAY 14th - HYANNIS HIGHLIGHTS - After enjoying a full breakfast at our hotel, today’s adventure begins by discovering the “Hub” of Cape Cod. Our tour includes the Kennedy Memorial, Hyannis Waterfront District, St. Xavier’s Church, the Hyannis port neighborhood of the Kennedy Compound and the history of the sea side village. We will see the Sandwich Glass Museum and a glass blowing demonstration, visit Cape Cod’s oldest village, and see the Hoxie House and Grist Mill, plus the historic Daniel Webster Inn. We will enjoy a lunch break on our own in Plymouth’s historic downtown. After lunch, we will take the faith-based journey our forefathers took aboard the Mayflower as we view Mayflower II afloat in Plymouth Harbor. See Plymouth Rock, the Pilgrim’s landing site, the Forefather’s monument and more. We will enter the 1824 Pilgrim Hall and see an unmatched collection of our forefather’s possessions and artifacts. Later tonight, we will enjoy a delicious dining experience at Plimoth Plantation featuring favorites recipes from days gone by. This will be a lovely dinner and a great ending to our day! (B,D)
FRIDAY, MAY 15th - MARTHA’S VINEYARD - After enjoying a full breakfast at our hotel, enjoy a full day of service to Martha’s Vineyard! Today, we will enjoy the Vineyard Cruise and Tour. We depart from scenic Woods Hole Harbor with your coach for the “Storybook Island” of Martha’s Vineyard. Your tour will include the famous Gingerbread Houses, Island Tabernacle and Antique Carousel of Oak Bluffs, stories and views of well-known resident’s homes, time to explore Edgartown filled with its many shops, eateries, attractions and extraordinary views of the Atlantic! This evening, you and your friends will enjoy a famous New England Lobster Dinner among other options at Alberto’s Ristorante, included in our tour! (B,D)
SATURDAY, MAY 16th – BOSTON - A full breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We will load our luggage and check out of our hotel, as we say goodbye to this beautiful area and begin our return trip homeward. We will transfer back to the Boston airport for an afternoon flight back to Jackson. This time will be perfect to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done, the great sights you’ve seen, and where your next group trip will take you! We will arrive later this afternoon at the Jackson Evers Airport to conclude our amazing tour. (B)
