This home has been the site of hundreds of weddings and was used in the James Brown film, “Get on Up.” After our tour here, we will enjoy a delicious lunch included in our tour, at Frankie’s on Main Eatery, where we will enjoy Cajun Chicken & Pasta, house salad, garlic bread, fresh-baked homemade dessert, with iced tea and coffee! Following lunch, we will continue our tour as we see St. Mary’s Basilica, the oldest and most beautiful Catholic Church in Mississippi.  From here, we will have some time to shop and sight see in the downtown area.  Natchez is a charming southern town and this will give us an up close view to experience the best it has to offer.  Finally, we will stop at Old South Trading Post for their homemade pralines, candies and cookbooks for sale.  We will say goodbye to Natchez and make our way back to Richland. We can stop in Port Gibson to take a photo of the “golden hand pointing to heaven” at the top of the Presbyterian Church, as we continue on Highway 61.  We should arrive back in Richland by 7:00 p.m., full of memories from this special day!

This trip was easy, well-planned, and so much fun! My daughter couldn’t stop talking about the charter bus. She said it was comfortable and she felt safe; plus a fun way to travel. Lance Clay planned a perfect day for our group and made it easy for us as the parents to follow along with all of the instructions from the payments to the trip home! We will definitely use TREK Travel again!!!! Thank you, Lance!

Good time but communication on events and stops poor. Poor communications on walking requirements. Terrible comfort on bus seats were two crowded no room for legs and feet.

We had an incredible trip even with a government shutdown!! We had enough time to see things in DC without being too rushed, and feeding and accommodations for 107 people wasn't a logistical problem at all. We even had to make some adjustments to the itinerary while we were there.... but, everything was doable and manageable to work around and work with. It was fantastic and lots of memories made!!

I am forever grateful we went on this trip! It was amazing!

There were a lot of changes and work around due to the government shut down. Everyone worked so very hard behind the scenes to occupy our time in DC. Overall a great experience just a lot of unknown and not knowing our day until the last minute. Some times were cut short due to other events that ran over or because it was not previously planned. All in all my 8th grader enjoyed the trip and it was a wonderful first time experience for her in DC. 

Our group had a great trip! We had to change a few things due to the government shutdown but overall it was well planned and very informational! Great Great memorable trip! 

the trip was very enjoyable. There was a variety of activities. We enjoyed being with the other group members. Definitely would recommend.

TREK - Adventure to Cape Cod - New England Tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Cape Cod trip.  The destination has a deep colonial history.  Trey and Lance did a great job selecting the local guides that provided quite informative perspectives.

We had a great time. Great group of people. I would recommend this trip to anyone. 

We had a wonderful time on our trip. Accommodations, travel details, food and excursions were wonderful. We didn’t have to worry about anything because all the details were taken care of. Thank you Trey Tracy Travel and Trek Travel for a wonderful vacation. We are ready to go again.

Madison Ridgeland Academy 8th Grade - Adventure to Washington, DC

It was fun, but there were a few boring experiences. Also, the bus driver, Barry, was very good, and Brian the tour guide was very entertaining. The hotel was okay, but our room would stay hot all the time.

We had a great trip even though we had to be very flexible. Some of the activities we were suppose to take part in did not happen due to prior weather conditions. They still found plenty for us to do. Would loved to have more time at Casa Loma in Toronto.  Loved getting to see Churchill Downs during Derby Week. Enjoyed great bbq in Louisville the first night.


Richland Seniors - "Adventure to Niagara Falls"

I had a great time and enjoyed all the sights we were shown. The guides could have been more knowledgeable and told us more about each sight. 

We were able to see a lot of things, but the whole trip felt super rushed!  Some of the things were allocated too much time, while others were cut short or jam packed, i.e. going to three Smithsonian’s, eating lunch, and using the restroom in an hour and a half.  We also did not have bathroom breaks built into the schedule. Our travel that was initially described to us is not what was actually booked.  The food court we went to on the first night was great. All the other food wasn’t not very good and the places were overcrowded, which caused us to fall behind schedule. I wish we would have had more time to visit the curated gift shops in the places we visited. However, I did like Abe’s gift shop, but would have liked to go back later in the trip. Overall, everything felt extremely rushed and not well planned, but I do appreciate the fact that we got to “see” as much as we did. 

First Baptist Christian School - Adventure to Washington, D.C.

We had a wonderful trip! Everyone was very nice that went on the trip. We saw most of the sights, but of course the Falls topped it all. Thanks to TREK Travel for a great time! 

The trip to Niagara Falls rated superior! I traveled with wonderful people and an attentive bus driver, making rest stops every 2-3 hours. We all ate well, in travel and at our destinations. The food was great and a few of the locations were exceptional. Our accommodations at two different hotels were high-grade, providing comfort and satisfying breakfasts. We visited several attractions, and each was enjoyable, educational and fun! We visited places that I could never go on my own. By being in a group, we had excellent guides at many attractions, who shared interesting facts. Our tour guides, from home, were on top of things and sometimes had to change plans due to unexpected closure of some events. They / We all handled this gracefully. This trip was fantastic in every way! Thanks for planning and executing!

Initially we were supposed to have a direct flight, msy-dca and dca-msy. We got switched to united on short notice which had a domino effect on many things. We had to wake up much earlier on the day of departure which caused us to be very tired by the end of that day. We didn’t arrive back home til after midnight and I had work that day which I could not take off of with such short notice. Also the layover on the way back was less than an hour and the connecting gate was about a 10-15 walk. We had to rush to use the restroom and there was no time to eat dinner. Dinner at Primos was difficult because there was another tour group eating there ahead of us, and they had showed up 45 min late and we were on time but basically had to wait for them even though we had other things planned. The food was pretty bland although the service was fantastic once we finally got to eat. There was a bit of an issue getting my boarding passes, and we switched our hotel reservations to 2 per room which was not fully communicated, when we got to the hotel they thought we were still sharing a room with another mother and daughter. Also I would nix eating lunch at the L’enfant plaza food court as the lines are extremely long and seating is rare, the food was just meh. I would take people back to the ballston common food court if it isn’t as busy in the afternoon because it was a great choice for dinner the night before. There Bible museum was superb. The capitol and library of congress were great and the food there was great, very organized. Even though we waited an hour in line to enter the capitol, it ended up being worth it. The bbq joint was great. Old town Alexandria tour was great I just wish it was longer. Make time for ice cream at the gelato place after. I liked the hotel we stayed at. Clean and within walking distance to a store. 

I enjoyed every minute of this wonderful trip! Everything was so organized and done so well. Dobson and Trek Travel are the very best!

Madison Ridgeland Academy 5th Grade - Adventure to Chattanooga, TN

It was so well planned and had the kids going! No down time, which is good for this age group! 

The Creation Museum and the Ark were wonderful. However, we did not attend the Cincinnati Reds game that was on our itinerary because they had an away game. We were told their schedule changed, but the schedule came out in July 2024 and showed that the Reds were playing away that weekend. This was a huge oversight by your travel agency and would not have been caught if one of our chaperones had not checked the baseball schedule 3 days before our trip. We would have arrived at the baseball stadium with almost 50 kids and no game to go to. Our school coordinator had to scramble to find other activities for our large group only a few days before we left. In addition, I would suggest looking into other hotels for the trip next year. Several rooms at our hotel had air conditioners that leaked and soaked the carpets. These rooms smelled horribly of mildew. When hotel staff was contacted we were told the hotel was full so we could not change rooms, but they would send staff with fans and towels to try to dry out the carpets. Nobody ever came to deal with the issue.

Our trip to Washington DC was absolutely incredible!! Our tour guides, Lance Clay and Larry (Twinkle Toes) were outstanding!!! Also, our bus driver, Sean, was so patient while driving in the crazy traffic while our 12 six graders were being silly. I would absolutely do it again!!! 

Leake Academy - Adventure to Washington, DC

Great trip! Dobson was great, and Brian was very charismatic and informative. Very full schedule and still plenty of flexibility for last minute arrangements to tour the White House and the Capitol. 

The only suggestion I have would be to try and explore another venue for the group dinner after leaving Mount Vernon. I know Primo's has been a longtime convenient staple right there in Alexandria, but it leaves a bit to be desired. I have been on 2 D.C. trips through Trek, and both times we went to Primo's. While they do have the process down to a science, the food just isn't very appealing. 

2025 Westminster Christian Academy  - Lafayette Campus

We had a great time viewing parades from our balcony! It was perfect for the buffet to be set up for us to enjoy while watching the parades. The accommodations were just right. We were thankful to be hosted by Matthew Tusch. Thank you, Lance, for a great trip.

This was a great trip. The kids really enjoyed it! The only thing I would like to see changed if our school goes in February/first of March again is to tour the Cowboys stadium earlier in the day. Possibly in the afternoon and then go to Dave and Busters afterwards. It was very dark in the stadium because the sun had set an hour before. Otherwise great trip!

Pillow Academy - Adventure to Arlington, Texas

This trip was fantastic! Very well planned and we really enjoyed it! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable! The bus driver was a bit grumpy but maybe he was having a bad week! Ha! Overall, great trip and the food plan was perfect! Food courts are perfect for the amount of people we had on our trip!

Northpoint Christian School - Adventure to Washington, DC

This was a very different trip than the "same" one I went on with another one of my children 3 years ago, for various reasons. I love how many activities and sights we get to see during our visit to our nations capital! However, this trip felt very unorganized and there seemed to be either long wait periods OR too little allotted time for certain activities (for example: less than 2 hours (more like 90 minutes) to tour both The Museum of American History AND the Museum of Natural History?? Each of these museums needs several hours and we felt rushed and only got to see such a small percentage of each. Many didn't even make it to the second museum in such a small window). 

There was also very little communication and nothing seemed to line up with the itinerary given to us by the teacher who coordinated the trip through Trek Travel. I understand some "wiggle room" is needed to be built in to a field trip with this many people but we spent much of the trip not knowing what was going on. 

One thing that was discussed among the parents is the lack of awareness by either the Trek Travel personnel or the teacher in charge of the event of what places were currently under construction or unavailable, causing wasted time more than once therefore cutting down other amounts of time that could have been spent elsewhere...(example: because of the election approaching and the inaguration in January, the White House was not only off limits, but even walking around it was limited. We spent an hour walking around the LaFayette park next to it learning about a few statues and buildings, but the same info could have been shared by our guide from the bus and that hour could have been spent seeing the 2 above mentioned museums instead. Another example: half of the Air & Space Museum was off-limits and closed due to renovations but we still had the same amount of time there as if it was completely open--which was a waste of time as the kids and parents completely ran out of things to see/do there in so much time).

These are just some observations from a parent in attendance. Overall, we enjoyed the trip of course! But I felt that communication and more effective up-to-date planning could have been better. 


The trip to Washington DC was simply amazing! We had the opportunity to tour the Naval Academy which was a once in a lifetime experience.  We toured numerous other museums and historical landmarks throughout the DC metro area. The food we ate was incredible. We had time to check out some of the local retail stores and historical areas. The entire trip was well planned and executed.  Trek Travel is the company to use when planning trips. They are the best!

We had a great trip! Our bus driver was absolutely amazing. Anna made the planning process stress free. She went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and was there through every step (even while we were traveling). The students and parents had an amazing time. We enjoyed The Creation Museum and Ark Encounter as well as adding two new fun activities to our agenda this year. We added a visit to the Cincinnati Zoo (be sure to have more than 3 hours-it's a lot to see) and a Cincinnati Reds baseball game (always pack a blanket). These two additions were enjoyed by all! 

Park Place Christian Academy - Noah's Ark & Creation Museum

This trip was amazing. Everything was so organized and well scheduled. I cannot think of one thing that was disappointing about this trip. Again thank you guys for such an amazing experience.
